Unboxing of Influenster #CheersVoxBox

Happy hump day guys! I hope you're all having an amazing day so far. I am beyond excited to share this post with you guys, because, as you know, I cancelled Birchbox awhile back, so I haven't done any unboxing posts in awhile. So, this one was actually an unexpected unboxing!

Have you guys heard of Influenster? If not, I'll link them here so that you can become members. It is such an awesome company, free of charge, and their goal is to get people to test products, review products, ask and answer questions about them. The website alone is great because it helps you find products, compare products, ask fellow Influensters about their experiences, and answer questions about yours. You can scan products while you are shopping or upload images for people to see products first hand, and share your honest review. As a bonus, you can win prizes and test products for free by connecting your social media accounts. This way, they keep track of your followers on your blog, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, etc. They also send you "snaps", which are little quizzes to find out if you would be a good fit to test the products that they are going for. They ask you about your home life, if you have a family, pets, what you do, etc. For example, if they are doing a wedding theme box and you aren't getting married, then you won't qualify for the box.

This month, they did a "cheers to you" themed box, and I was so excited to have qualified! It is my first month as a Influenster, having heard about it through a fellow Youtube channel, so I was really surprised to have been able to receive a box. And, of course, I wanted to unbox with you guys! Watch the video if you want to see me unbox it for the first time and talk about the products. Basically, we are unboxing and talking about these products. Please keep in mind that I did receive these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. However, I am always 100% honest with you guys, and my opinion is always truthful and my own!

The box itself was a blue and white box with a cute label that said "Happy New Year, Gorgeous". The box was secured well, very safely for the products, and the box was large and heavy!

Opening the box, here is the view of the products that I have. Luckily, they were awesome enough to have put the chips in a separated compartment, as well as put the shampoo & conditioner in a sealed bag, so everything was totally intact and safe upon arrival.

As soon as I opened the box, I was so excited to see the products that I received! A couple of them I have tried before, and a couple I had not.

1. Suave Coconut Oil Damage Repair Shampoo & Conditioner // I've always been a high-end hair product user, I'll be honest. My hair is just as finnicky as I am, and it usually doesn't do well with drugstore products. However, I was still excited to have received this because of the conditioner! I have about an inch of product left in my current conditioner with no backup, so this is the perfect solution. Because of the coconut oil infusion, it smells freaking INCREDIBLE! I could lather this over my whole body, seriously. While it isn't color specific shampoo, it is damage repair specific and hydrating with coconut oil, so using it on my colored hair shouldn't be any issue, which makes me think that Influenster really does use those quizzes well, which is super cool. I actually used this conditioner last night to test it out. My hair is seriously extra soft today, and maybe I'm crazy, but I felt like when I went to brush out my wet hair, it brushed out really easily, almost like the conditioner helped detangle too...

2. Way Better Snacks Sweet Chili Corn Tortilla Chips // Way Better Snacks has always been a brand I've loved! These chips didn't have a kick like I thought they may (definitely sweet chili), but, I finished them within 5 minutes. So they must've been okay ;)

3. Dr. Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Soaking Solution 'Lavender' // This is the first thing my eyes saw when I opened up my box. Oh man do I love me some lavender. And, even though Dr. Teal's is drugstore, this is seriously the best brand of epsom salt. I used to use this in high school when I did track and strained my hip flexor and it helped so much. There is something about the already soothing qualities of epsom salt, mixed with the mentally soothing qualities of lavender that is just amazing. Unfortunately, I don't have a bath tub currently :( But, when I move in a month and a half, I will have one, and I can use it then, hoorah!

4. Cards and Coupons included // The very last thing under everything in the box is a few cards. The first being the Cheers to You Voxbox card with the Influenster logo. The back of this card includes the names and brands of all products received and mentioned, along with the prices for the products. The second card is a free download of the Yaye app, which I read up on a little, and it is a really cool app. It realizes that exercising isn't easy with our busy lives, and it lets us record our progress, set goals, and connect with our friends and family to motivate us! The last card is a 25% off coupon for Peony and Me, which is a women's athletic clothing and accessory brand online, they have beautiful stuff, but it is very expensive. One more thing, not pictured, was a free coupon for Hormel taco meat! I'll definitely be taking that to QFC and getting one, I'm sure Jason will be stoked.

Alrighty guys, so there is my first ever VoxBox unboxing. I really enjoyed doing this, it was really fun and exciting for me, and I hope you guys enjoyed it too. You don't have to be a blogger or a youtuber to sign up or qualify for Influenster, so if you guys want to find a great place to read reviews, post reviews, or potentially receive free products to test out, you should definitely sign up!

Have you tried any of these products? What monthly subscription services do you have / suggest?
